Once you have backed up your Tally Company, proceed as follows:

STEP 1: Select utility version based on your requirement :
STEP 2: Open Tally and select the Tally company for which you are passing entries. Go to Gateway of Tally>Display>List of Accounts. On the top left corner click on E : Export. Press backspace and configure these export options (all other settings are optional).
This will open a sheet with the current list of ledgers for your company. Go to cell A1 and press (Ctrl+A) once to select the sheet data, and then press (Ctrl+C) to copy the data.
STEP 3: Open the Excel Template downloaded in Step 1 and go the the 'Ledger' sheet cell A1. Press (Ctr+V) to paste the data into the Excel Template.
Why do I need to do this?
STEP 4: Update the 'Data' sheet with the entries required to be uploaded. You need to fill Date, Narration, Voucher Type, Ledgers to be debited, Debit Amounts, Ledgers to be credited and credit amounts. Manual voucher numbers and custom voucher types are supported.

STEP 5: Click on the "Choose File" button below, select the saved Excel Template and click upload.
